Hello

Hi! My name is Abby Benton and I am a sophomore in the Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland, College Park. I am an accounting and information systems double major, and apart of the Public Leadership cohort of College Park Scholars.

Being in the Public Leadership cohort of College Park Scholars has already helped me to develop my leadership skills and identify types of leadership within other people. I have gained many skills from this program, and grown a lot in my knowledge and understanding of from public leadership. I have already begun implementing these lessons in my everyday life. They have changed how I view others and have helped me to see how I can bring my leadership strengths to the table while complementing the strengths of others, allowing for the best outcome in any situation. 4/27/2022
